*Please feel free to give us your suggestions/input* Driving by today and this place looked great on Yelp. 100% right on. Nice looking place from the outside and the inside was super clean and tidy. We ordered based on the owners suggestion my wife had the the turkey bacon cranberry on ciabatta bread and hat it paninied (sp)? With a cup of vegetable soup. I had a chicken Cesar wrap. We both had hot coffee drinks. Mocha and their special chocolate cherry and then they had a chocolate cupcake with mocha frosting that we split. Everything was top notch. The wrap was huge and I got 1/2 to go for later. Cupcake was super way to end a trip up north. Great place!
Great place for coffee or a bite to eat. Everything is made to order and the owners seem pretty nice. They put a lot of time and effort into making your food and coffee. I got the ham and Swiss panini with salad. Yum! ~Customer from Fisherman's Wharf, San Fran. CA
What a great little find on the road home from Duluth! Quaint little cabin feel, with handwritten menu boards. Sandwiches and pannini's were fresh and tasty and served on nice ceramic plates. Tried kettle chips, fries and fresh veggies with dip for sides - all good. Turkey with bacon and cranberry was especially yummy and the multi-grain bread was not overly dense but nice and soft. Cute little chickadee cookies accompany each of the hot drinks (pumpkin chai and hot cocoa). In the summer they have outdoor seating. There are books and games to play while you wait for your order. We'll definitely be back! ~ Chris F. from Mpls, MN who reported on Yelp
This is an incredible gem, tucked away in Barnum MN. The cafe is rustic and the ambiance is incredibly quaint. The food is absolutely incredible and the owners Chris and Brigham are incredible hosts. Kris and Erin do all the cooking and baking, they're both very talented. Imagine, Italian Soda, Cuban Pannini, and a white chocolate cranberry scone with lemon icing. The food looks and tastes great, the flavors just explode in your mouth. There's a catering facility in the basement, can hold about 40 people, excellent for parties, social gatherings, weddings and office meetings or parties. They really rock when it comes to their barista offerings, they have their own roaster. I've been coming to this cafe for the last few weeks, never been disappointed once. ~Customer who reported on Zomato.com
Everything… I mean everything on the menu is excellent from their coffees… To their teas… Salads… Sandwiches… Soup.... a great place to stop for anything while you're in the area ... Great service… Not fast food… But quick and very good ... The staff there is also absolutely excellent...~Laura B. who reported on Trip Advisor
Going up I-35 to Duluth this stop is in the perfect location. Their specialty coffees surpass that place from Seattle by miles. Friendly service, owner operated and VERY easy access off the interstate make this the place to stop. Only problem is you won't want to leave! ~Customer from Amarillo, TX who reported on Trip Advisor
This is our regular local coffee shop and we feel lucky to have it here in our neighborhood. Coffee and food are just great. Service is friendly. Ambiance is laid back and stylishly cabiny. There is a spacious meeting room downstairs for groups and parties. Friday nights features live music with specials on craft beer. Friends traveling between Duluth and Twin Cities make it a point to stop. I love meeting friends or just sitting solo with my laptop. ~Local customer who reported on Trip Advisor
Great tea and hot chocolate. Food is awesome. Love the live music. Love the room downstairs that we have book club at every so often. Just a cool place. ~Jenny M. who reported on Trip Advisor
This restaurant is an incredible find just off 35 toward Duluth or Minneapolis, depending on which way you are going. The food and ingredients are fresh, with a blend of some great flavors. The coffee is as good as you would get at any Starbucks, if not better. It's a husband and wife team, Kris cooks and bakes, she's meticulous in approach to food quality, she treats every dish with a labor of love. Brigham, works the floor and ensures that every customer experience is as good as the last. Not the ambiance is warm, the cafe is very clean, the bathrooms spotless. They have a great facility in the basement, boardroom with a television and dvd player, a room next to it with seating for a banquet, The basement can hold 40 people, it's a great facility. Every Friday from 6-8pm they have entertainment and they offer buy one get one free beer. The soups are incredible and you won't believe the portion size, it's ridiculous. ~John from Texas who reported on Trip Advisor
